Applying decals to objects
Textures in VUE can be placed manually with a texture placement editor. Learn how to use this feature for decal application in this video.
Did you know that the Projected Texture Map node in the Function Editor has a visual editor for manual texture placement on objects? With this editor, decals can be placed, rotated and scaled easily on top of an existing material layer.

Note: This tutorial was recorded in a legacy version (VUE 2016). Most techniques shown here are still valid for the most recent version of VUE, but some parameters have changed since the recording and the interface has been redesigned.
