Better topology with axis controls in PlantFactory

Improve your plant model by adjusting the axis spline of segment nodes procedurally and avoiding artefacts in the generated mesh.

The topology in PlantFactory is controlled by the axis spline that runs through segment nodes. If the spline is strongly deformed, either through manual editing or procedural settings, the resulting geometry that is extruded along the spline can cause self-intersecting mesh parts, stretched polygons and sub-optimal topology.

To improve the mesh, PlantFactory offers a set of controls to smooth out and adjust the deformation strength of the axis spline, hence producing better topology and avoiding problematic mesh areas.
