Working with sculpted geometry

Learn how to import sculpted geometry and use it to replace the surface of a segment node. You can also use sculpts from ZBrush through GoZ.

In this tutorial, you will learn how to import sculpted geometry into PlantFactory and use it to replace the surface of a segment node. This combines hand-sculpted meshes with procedural features.

If you have ZBrush installed on your machine, you can use the GoZ bridge to send geometry back and forth between PlantFactory and ZBrush.

Geometry can also be repeated along the internal axis spline that runs through each segment. This provides an easy way to create geometry with repeatable patterns such as chains, for example.
