Working with the Cutout Leaf Node in PlantFactory

With the cutout leaf node, you can cutout meshes from an atlas map for lightweight and customizable geometry.

The Cutout Leaf comes with its own editor for cutting out custom meshes from a single texture or an atlas map. It is very useful for creating low polygon geometry for real-time purposes or for any project which requires specific topology settings.

This tutorial will teach you how to use the node and its cutout editor and will explain the compatibility with LODs, dynamic subdivision and how to control the polygon flow in custom meshes.
