The Quercus robur urban is an English oak specifically designed for isolated specimens growing in streets and landscaped parcs. This urban version does not include any epiphytic plants. The English oak is one of the most common oak species in Europe and up to the Caspian Sea, where it is usually the dominant tree species in forest. Quercus robur is a relatively tall tree, up to 35 m, with a very long life span up to 700 years old and even more. It is also a very useful species for its high energy firewood, its root-roof hardwood used for carpentry and its fruits for animal feeding. Sometime the English oak is also used for landscaping streets and parcs.
