Sequoiadendron giganteum, the Giant Sequoia, is native to the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. It is one of the tallest trees on earth with a record height of 87.2 meters. The giant sequoia is undoubtly the biggest producer of wood in large volumes. It is famous for its thick big straight orange trunk and can be found in temperate climates across the world.
