Duranta repens (syn. Durenta erecta), the golden dewberry is a big bush that grows up to 5 meters tall, originating from Central America and the Caribbean. It is widely spread worldwide and can be found in the wild in many tropical countries and continents like Australia, Africa, China and Oceania. The elegant branches arches covered by long purple blooms followed by orange fruits make the golden dewberry an interesting plant at all ages for landscaping.
