Asplenium scolopendrium, the hart’s tongue fern, is a common evergreen fern typically found in underwood. It grows up to 80 cm tall across all dimensions and is found in the wild across Europe and North America. Despite its Northern origins, the hart’s tongue fern gives forests an amazing tropical visual mood. It can pretty much grow on everything, from walls to trees, in the same way as the real tropical bird’s nest fern: Asplenium nidus.
