Eucalyptus camaldulensis, the red river gum, is one of the most common Eucalyptus species in Australia where it can be found almost everywhere along the streams. However, this gum species easily adapts to a wide variety of soil conditions and climates. It is one of the most cultivated Eucalyptus in the tropical and Mediterranean zones. In the wild, Eucalyptus camaldulensis can be found is a variety of shapes and sizes: from slim and tall trees up to 45 meters high, to small gnarled and fat short specimens.
