Pinus ponderosa dead lone is a ponderosa pine procedural vegetation model that will generate dead isolated trees (as opposed to their forest counterpart), featuring different states of residual bark. The Pinus ponderosa is a commonly found pine in the Rocky Mountains, ranging from BC, Canada to North Mexico at 300-3100 meters altitude. It has a big pyramidal shape and can grow up to 50 meters tall. It is often misidentified as Pinus jeffreyii, but can be differentiated by its smaller cones (2x smaller), larger size, and greenish needles. While the ponderosa is important for timber in the west US, it's mainly grown as an ornamental tree elsewhere.
