Blechnum spicant, the deer fern, is a common species which can grow up to 50 cm across all dimensions. It is native to the entire Northern hemisphere and grows in fresh and humid areas and in any cold condition. Similar to its cousin Asplenium scolopendrium, the dear fern evokes an interesting tropical style in any underwood scenery.
