Beaucarnea recurvata, (syn Nolina recurvata) the elephant foot is native from Mexico. The Beaucarnea recurvata grows up to 8 meters high, and is distinctive thanks to its a singular bottle trunk, with a seamless elephant skin-like bark, that then splits into slim trunk ramifications. The elephant foot is popular in urban design, small landscape and indoor decoration because of its unusual and archetypal silhouette.
