The Quercus robur forest is an English oak variation specifically designed for representing specimens growing in forests. The model includes optional 3D lichens. The English oak is one of the most common oak species in Europe and up to the Caspian Sea, where it is usually the dominant tree species in forest. Quercus robur is a relatively tall tree, up to 35 m, with a very long life span up to 700 years old or more. It is also a very useful species for its high energy firewood, its root-roof hardwood used for carpentry and its fruits for animal feeding. Sometimes, the English oak is also used for landscaping streets and parks.
