Duranta repens (syn. Durenta erecta), the golden dewberry, is a big bush which grows up to 5 meters in height. It originates from Central America and the Caribbean and is widely spread worldwide. It can be found in the wild in many tropical countries and continents like Australia, Africa, China and Oceania. The elegant branches covered by long purple blooms, then followed by orange fruits make the golden dewberry an interesting plant at all ages for landscaping.
