Lupinus arboreus, the yellow bush lupine, is commonly found along the shores in California and Oregon, both growing between stones and on dunes. It is one of those rare lupine species which grow into a real bush with a size of up to 1.5 meter across all dimensions. The yellow bush lupine is very attractive for its big yellow and fragrant blossoms which grow out of an elegant silver foliage. This species has been cultivated more and more over time and nowadays, it can also be found in the wild in the UK.
