Mixing OpenVDB grids with procedural cloud modulation functions

Imported OpenVDB volume grids can be enhanced with VUE's MetaCloud materials. Mix and match procedural cloud functions with imported grid data.

OpenVDB objects are imported into VUE as MetaClouds. The Spectral Cloud material for MetaClouds can read the grid data of the imported OpenVDB object in different modes. Next to interpreting only raw grid data, several other modes are available for mixing the baked data with procedural, volumetric cloud functions and special VUE cloud properties such as height modulation or density modulation.

In this tutorial, Barry Marshall shows you how to switch modes and enhance OpenVDB volumes with cloud modulation functions.
