Vriesea carinata, also known as the lobster claw plant, is one of the world's most popular indoor plants, admired for its spectacular flaming bracts that transition from yellow to red. In its natural habitat, it is a common species found in the southern Brazilian forests (Mata Atlantica). This small air plant can be found both on the ground and as an epiphyte.
