Guzmania lingulata pink, also referred to as the droophead tufted airplant or scarlet star, is a cultivated variation characterized by its vibrant pink-colored bracts. The Guzmania lingulata species is a petite bromeliad native to the rainforests of Central America, northern and central South America, and southern Mexico. While it has the ability to grow in soil, it's more commonly encountered as an epiphytic plant, clinging to the trunks and branches of trees. Remarkably, despite its origin in jungle environments, the scarlet star has risen to prominence as one of the most popular indoor plants available worldwide.
