Archontophoenix alexandrae, the Alexander palm is native from the North-East Australian rain forest. The Alexander palm can nonetheless adapt to many cultivation conditions and is well resistant when planted in gardens or urban landscapes. Its elegant silhouette and its moderate development make it one of the most popular palms in the world for tropical to sub-tropical climates. In nature, they can grow up to 30 meters in height, either isolated or in small groups.
